Saturday 5th June 2010: High Nelly Cycle '10
The High Nelly Cycle fundraising group started in Ballyjamesduff @ 11.30am, then arrived in Oldcastle @ 1.30pm, Virginia @ 3.30pm, then finished up back in Ballyjamesduff at McCabes Bar & Lounge, who were also sponsoring the cycle. All proceeds from the event are being donated to Breast Cancer so thanks to all for showing your support for this worthy cause.

Saturday 10th July 2010: Official Pink N Gold Fund Launch Night
Our Official Launch of The Attracta Doherty Pink N Gold Fund was held in the Lakeside Manor Hotel, Virginia, on the 10th of July @ 9pm. Guest speakers attended on the night and there was a special apperance from renowned singer Martina Doyle. We also had an array of music on offer and the first appearance of our Pink N Gold Quartet, consisting of Timmy King / Martin Cadden / Brendan Leavy / Tommy Kenny. Irene Farrelly also made a guest appearence along with the Kieron King Set Dancers. Our Launch Night was a huge success and many thanks to all who showed their support on the night.

Crowe's Corner, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan held a Head Shave / Body Wax fundraising event in aid of our charity on Saturday 24th July @ 9pm. This proved to be another successful night for our charity and again all proceeds made will go to our two chosen breast cancer specific organisations.

Sunday 1st August 2010: Attracta Doherty Memorial Pink N Gold Triathlon 2010
Our 1st Annual Attracta Doherty Memorial Pink N Gold Triathlon was held on the bank holiday weekend in August. We had a host of entertainment on the day including musical entertainment and a kids corner so that it was a fun day out for all the family, and the event was again held in the Lakeside Manor Hotel, Virginia. This was our inaugural event and we hope it will continue to be a highlight in the Irish triathlon calender for many years to come. The music and entertainment continued long into the night as a variety of bands and acts played from 3pm until 3am. The event as a whole was a massive success and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved for all your hard work on the day. We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Castlerahan Table-Tennis Marathon
Castlerahan Table-tennis Club held a table-tennis marathon in aid of our charity fund in August. This proved to another successful fundraising event for our organisation with many excellent local and national players turning up on the day to show their support for our worthy cause.

Saturday 26th March 2011: Pink N Gold Charity Hunt
Ballymacad Hunt hosted a sponsored charity hunt in aid of our charity, which commenced at Castlerahan Primary School @ 1.00pm. Refreshments were held after the event in Farrellys Bar & Lounge, Oldcastle. All proceeds were donated to the Attracta Doherty Pink N Gold Fund assisting families affected by cancer. Many thanks to Jarleth & Martina Bates, Noel Harte, and all who contributed to this event.

Friday 25th June 2010: Novelty GAA Football Match
Munterconnaught GFC hosted a Novelty Football Match to raise funds for our charity on the 25th of June. The match consisted of a Munterconnaught / Castlerahan Selection v Mullahoran Selection. This Novelty Football Match containined stars from the past and present from both side's with some "senior members" trying to roll back the years and mix it with the "young gun's" !!!
It was held in Munterconnaught's football pitch @ 7.30pm. The match itself was then followed by a mid-summer BBQ & a night of music in O' Dwyer's Ramor Inn. There was also a raffle and mini auction on the night and all proceeds again went to our cancer specific, chosen organisations. Many thanks to all who joined us & for your continued support.

Sunday 31st July 2011: Attracta Doherty Memorial Pink N Gold Triathlon 2011
What a day! Sincere thanks to all who showed their support at our 2nd annual Attracta Doherty Memorial Pink N Gold Triathlon. With a fantastic field of competitors this year it was Bjorn Ludick & Rachael Beck who came to the fore to take the honours in the Elite Male & Elite Female categories respectively, with Ludick also scooping overall winner with a new course record in a time of 1:00:40. The event was again held in the especially scenic Lakeside Manor Hotel, Dublin Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan. With such overwhelming support from both the public and the competitors this year's event proved to be an even bigger and better success than last year's. We would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way to helping us make this year's event such a success and would like to thank the fantastic field of competitors who showed their support for our very worthwhile cause, because of all of you we are in a position to help those less fortunate than ourselves and for that, we thank you most sincerely.This fundraiser was in aid of families affected by CANCER. All proceeds will go to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care; Breast Cancer; Oncology Ward Mater Hospital; Virginia Cancer Group; Bailieboro Cancer Group.
