-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The High Nellie Cycle
2nd June
'12
The High
Nellie Cycle will be the same format as previous years, with anyone wish to be
involved asked to assemble @ 10.30am outside McCabe's Bar & Lounge,
Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. The route will take us from Ballyjamesduff to
Oldcastle, then Virginia, and back to Ballyjamesduff. We will be trying to
collect money in each town we pass through to raise money for cancer patients.
There will be refreshments & live music provided after the event in McCabes
Bar, Ballyjamesduff. All are welcome on the day, and again, all proceeds will go
directly towards our chosen cancer-specific organisations.

Rachel Rudden, Rachael Brady, Shane McCabe, Catherine McCollum & Philomena McCloskey (All Cavan Institute) making a presentation to The Attracta Doherty Pink n' Gold Fund. The very generous donation was the result of their Kilimanjaro Climb and we would like to thank all who contributed and supported them in their fundraising efforts. A wonderful effort all round, which I'm sure will be very much appreciated by our Cancer Charities.
A Tribute,
To A Life Well
Lived
Kieron King
It was with
deep sadness and regret that we had to say goodbye to one of our own on
Monday 16th April. Kieron was not only a big part of our family but was a Pink
n' Gold committee member from our very foundation as a charity, who
made helping others a big part of his life. Our deepest sympathies go out
to Kieron's wife Jackie and their two girls Erin & Katelyn,
his mother and father Kathleen & Tommy, brothers Timmy, Noel,
Fintan & Gerry, sisters Elizabeth & Geraldine, and extended
family and friends.
Deeply missed by all who were privileged to have known
you.
Rest in peace
Kieron,
